Varsity Head Coach: Josh Eskew

Josh Eskew has served as the varsity head coach of the Dorman Boys Soccer team since 2010. Prior to being named head coach at Dorman he served for 4 years as an assistant coach under Carlos Osorio. Eskew also spent 1 year as the head coach of the Christ Church Girl’s Team and one year as the boy’s head coach at his alma mater, Wade Hampton High School (Greenville). Eskew played collegiate soccer at Lander University under Van Taylor, where he started as a goalkeeper, before transferring and graduating from College of Charleston (2002).

Coach Eskew lives in Spartanburg with his beautiful wife Rebecca, son Blake (8), and daughter Chandler (5). Eskew serves as the APEX Coordinator at Dorman High School. He holds a Masters in Coaching (Kinesiology) from Georgia Southern University, and a BS in Business Administration from the College of Charleston. In addition to coaching at Dorman he has also serves as a club coach for CESA Spartanburg, and serves on the coaching staff for the Ralph Lundy Soccer Academy in the summer.


Winning the Region 2AAAA Championship (’13, ’14); beating Greenwood in Golden Goal OT in the 2014 SC State Playoffs 2nd round and eventually advancing to the SC Semi-Finals; being selected to coach in the North-South All-Star Classic (’14)
